Signal Path Audio is a small audio-hardware shop in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
We collect the least we can, store it on our own server, and never sell
it. This page says exactly what that means.
What we collect
- When you write to us (contact, distributor, or waitlist forms): your name, email, and whatever you put in the message. Distributors also give a company name and country.
- When you pre-order: your name, email, shipping address, and phone number — what we need to build and post a unit to you.
- When you browse logged out: cookieless, first-party analytics — the page path, the referring site's hostname, a coarse device type (desktop/mobile), and a daily-rotating one-way hash used only to count unique visitors for a day. We do not store IP addresses, set cookies, or track you across sites or across days.
- When you're signed in to an account: we associate your page views and key actions (such as plugin downloads) with your account, so we can support your account and understand how members use the site. This happens only while you're signed in — sign out and you're anonymous again. We still honour Do-Not-Track, still set no tracking cookies, and still use no third-party analytics.
What we don't do
- No cookies for tracking. No advertising networks. No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel).
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
Who sees it
Us — the founders. When we ship a unit, your address goes to the postal
carrier so it can be delivered. When we add a payment provider, that
provider will process your payment under its own terms; we'll name it
here when it's in place.
Where it's kept
On a server we run ourselves. Not in a third-party marketing database.
We keep order records as long as we need them for support and our own
books, and we clear out form messages once they're dealt with.
Your choices
Email hello@signalpath.audio
to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Our
analytics honour your browser's Do-Not-Track setting — turn it on and
we won't record your visits at all.
