Signal Path Audio is a small audio-hardware maker in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, operated by its founders. These terms cover buying from us. Plain language, no surprises.
Most of what we make is built to order. Placing a pre-order reserves a unit — it does not charge you. You'll get a confirmation with an order number, then a separate email with payment instructions before we build. Nothing is taken until you act on that. You can cancel any time before you pay, at no cost. An order is confirmed once payment clears.
Units are assembled by hand in Kaohsiung. Lead times vary with parts and batch size; we'll tell you what to expect and keep you posted if it moves.
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is calculated by destination when you reserve. Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are your responsibility — we can't predict or collect those for you.
Some products (e.g. Knobster) ship with an SDK so you can reprogram the firmware — remap controls, change MIDI behaviour, or write your own. The hardware design itself is proprietary. Reprogramming the unit you own is yours to do; it doesn't grant any rights to the underlying design.
Plugins are licensed, not sold, and delivered as a download. Each one comes with its own license terms. Builds are signed and notarised; there are no license servers.
We stand behind our hardware — see Returns & refunds for faults and DOA units. Beyond that, products are provided as-is to the extent the law allows, and our liability is limited to what you paid for the item.
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Questions go to hello@signalpath.audio.
